A useful DFM review connects product geometry to the proposed tool and molding process. Moldflow is added when simulation can clarify filling, pressure, weld-line, air-trap, cooling or deformation risk.

Tool manufacture

Match each feature to the right machining process.

Mold manufacture can combine steel preparation, CNC roughing, high-speed finishing, EDM, wire cutting, drilling, polishing and bench fitting. The route is chosen around geometry, access, finish and tolerance requirements.
