Steel and mold construction follow the application.

Common tooling materials shown in the partner-factory material include P20, 718H, S136 and NAK80. Final selection depends on resin, expected volume, surface finish, corrosion exposure, maintenance plan and buyer requirements.

  • Mold-base and insert strategy
  • Hot or cold runner requirements
  • Slides, lifters and ejection
  • Cooling and service access

Machining

CNC, EDM and wire cutting are complementary processes.

CNC establishes the principal geometry; EDM resolves deep or inaccessible details; wire cutting supports precision profiles and inserts. Polishing and bench fitting then bring surfaces and moving components into the assembled tool.

  • Rough and finish CNC
  • EDM for deep details
  • Wire cutting for profiles
  • Polishing and texture preparation

Assembly & trial

Validate the tool as a working production system.

After assembly, the mold is trialed with agreed process conditions. Samples are reviewed for fill, flash, short shots, deformation, ejection, appearance and dimensions before corrections or approval.
